The Fairmont Hamilton Princess has been undergoing a significant renovation over the past couple of years and one of those changes was the addition of the first celebrity chef outpost on the island – Marcus Samuelsson’s Marcus’ restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants on the Swiss Riviera is quietly tucked away in La Tour-de-Peilz between Montreux and Vevey. L’Olivier is located in the Hostellerie Bon Rivage and features some of the most impressive views of Lake Geneva from its terrace paired with a changing seasonal menu that capitalizes on local ingredients.
Prague is fast emerging as a culinary center in Europe. You can find pretty much anything that your taste buds desire and I found it to be extremely celiac-friendly. One restaurant that stood out during my visit was actually tucked-away in the Hilton Hotel. Yet, this is definitely not a hotel restaurant – it’s a restaurant that happens to be in a hotel.
