Bella Lucia Gluten Free Pizzelles
I always love it when I have those gluten-free ah-ha moments when I come across a gluten-free version of an item I had enjoyed prior to my Celiac diagnosis. A recent visit to a D.C. area Wegmans yielded these sweet little treats from Bella Lucia.
Les Recettes de Celiane Batonnets Chocolat au Lait
Another Geneva, Switzerland find that I brought back with me were these delectable milk chocolate fingers or Bâtonnets Chocolat au Lait (sounds more appealing in French). Now first off, Céliane is an actual person who was born with a gluten intolerance who, according to the product back story, wanted to create a range of delicious products to share with the public…
Frankly Fresh Stuffed Grape Leaves
Another great Costco find was these Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves from Frankly Fresh. Not only are these gluten-free but also dairy-free as well. Now, if you are thinking of those small, tightly wrapped grape leaves that you’ll typically find in tins – which I love, don’t get me wrong – these are a cut above and have a a really unique flavor, not to mention they are huge.
Moni’s Natural Sauces and Dressing
My friends at Moni’s Naturals sent me some of their products to review and I could have been happier. Those of you from Texas might recognize the name because Moni’s is served at a host of restaurants down in the Lone Star State. After tasting these products it is no surprise why Moni’s has been a successful family business for decades…
Don Lee Farms Veggie Patties
I have said it before and I will say it again, I always love my trips to my local Costco because each time there seems to be more and more gluten-free items on the shelves. My last visit yielded a really great fine of gluten-free and vegan Veggie Patties from Don Lee Farms. I am typically not one for pre-made foods but after looking at the ingredients – these patties were all natural and had real honest to goodness ingredients (namely vegetables) so I thought why not give them a try.
