As I am once again getting ready to hit the gluten-free open road (well skies) as I jet off to Istanbul and Montreux (Switzerland) in a couple of weeks — I was reminded of a post that I did for the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness last year. It’s basically my five-point checklist that I always use to ensure that my journey will be as smooth as possible.
I have not been posting as frequently as normal because as many of you know I am on the road in Lima, Peru.
Sadly my journey to Lima is coming to an end and I have had a truly fabulous time here. I was a bit apprehensive in the food allergy department at first but found this culinary capital of the Americas to be most welcoming to this food allergic diner.
