The Rosewood Tucker’s Point Hotel has been one of my lunch go-tos pretty much since they opened. The Tucker’s Bar restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. I love the clubby feel with fantastic views overlooking one of the pool areas.
They cater flawlessly to guests with special dietary needs and on the gluten-free front, always have gluten-free bread and pasta options available. Servers will work with you to find options that meet you specific needs and the kitchen will alter items to ensure a worry-free experience.
One of my favorites is an off-menu BLT with avocado on gluten-free bread. For a lighter option I usually go with the Parma ham that is served with fresh mozzarella, figs and tomatoes — a basket of gluten-free bread is the perfect accompaniment. There is also typically a gluten-free pasta with sauce preparations that have varied over the years. Most recently I tried the Caesar salad (sans croutons) and asked for a simple sliced grilled chicken breast to be added and it did not disappoint.
Tucker’s Bar is most definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. Everything from the service to the food is really quite good and the setting cannot be beat.
