GF Pizza is a tough one to get right – particularly when it is a frozen pizza. I have tried many and liked few. I do like this variety for two reasons: (1) they are more individual in size than a traditional pie so if you are the lone Celiac in your household it will not go to waste; and (2) the crust crisps up very well when placed directly on the oven rack. The portion size also helps keep the waistline in check because let’s face it, gluten-free pizza is not a diet food by any stretch of the imagination.
My only gripe (and it is a minor one) is that there could be a bit more cheese on the pies. I tend to add some additional cheese to these as well as my favorite toppings – try some prosciutto and black olives or pepperoni to make a delicious custom creation straight from your own oven.
