Living Luxe GF Cookbook Review

If you are a regular visitor to my site you’ll likely notice that there is one area that I tend not to review and that is cookbooks. Over the years I have received many offers for review copies but to be quite honest – it is really not something that piques my interest. Don’t get me wrong, cookbooks are great and definitely serve a purpose – be it for instruction or inspiration.

Swoffle Stroopwafel

It is no surprise that I have a tremendous sweet tooth so when Swoffle reached out to me to try their gluten-free Stroopwafel I said yes without hesitation.  Now I think that the company was surprised that I actually knew what A Stroopwafel was and I was over the moon because I have not had one since my pre-celiac diagnosis days when I lived in Europe as a teen.

Pizza, Pizza.

When I was first diagnosed with celiac disease going on 16 years now, one of the biggest blows to my food repertoire was pizza. You have to remember that this was before the explosion of gluten-free items to the market so choices were few and far between (and quite frankly many options tasted just plain awful – oh, how far we have come).
