My other half surprised me with two varieties of Beanitos – the Cheddar Cheese Pinto Bean and Flax chips and the Chipotle BBQ Black Bean chips. What’s nice about these chips is that they are so much more than gluten-free. They are corn-, wheat-, soy-, and potato-free. Additionally, they are also low glycemic, high fiber, high protein, and high in Omega 3s.
The Cheddar Cheese Pinto Bean and Flax chips were very good. The flavor was subtle without being overpowering so the nuttiness of the chips natural flavors really came through. Just the right amount of spice made for the perfect balance in these chips.
The Chipotle BBQ Black Bean chips were also quite good. These had a great smoky flavor with a mellow undertone of spiciness. The flavor was a real standout and unlike anything I have come across on the market.
